Return on the JRDA2022 of GIS GRAISyHM
After Amiens in 2019, Compiègne in 2021, the 8th edition of the Regional Day for PhD students in Automation took place at the ITM Nord Europe Teaching, Research and Innovation Center in Douai.
Our doctoral students are talented because, following a survey by the Lille Doctoral School Sciences For Engineering, 94% of them find a job after their thesis, with an average monthly salary of 2500€ net; 50% of them go into the private sector. The thesis prepares students for an academic or industrial career, and this 8th edition of the Regional Day for Doctoral Students in Automation, held on June 14, 2022, made doctoral students aware of this preparation. Ludovic Macaire, director of the MADIS Doctoral School of Lille has moreover detailed all the career profiles after the thesis in the private and public sectors.
This year, the theme of this day was "Valuing the skills of doctoral students in the Hauts de France Region" and brought together more than 40 people, including 30 doctoral students. Among them, three winners received a prize for the best poster:
- 1. Paul Chaillou (CRIStAL - UMR CNRS 9189) - "Soft robot design for in vivo cancer imaging"
- .
- 2. Corentin Ascone (LAMIH - UMR CNRS 8201) - "Preventive maintenance support by Digital Twin for system diagnosis"
- .
- 3. Débora Alvés (IMT NE) - "Leak Supervision in Water Distribution Networks"
