PSCHITT
The PSCHITT platform is a versatile, dynamic and immersive simulator dedicated to research in the field of transport and mobility. It is part of the laboratory's autonomous mobility platform.
General presentation
Designed by LAMIH, the PSCHITT simulator (€2m) is a piece of transport research equipment developed specifically to be multimodal (modular design based on interchangeable full-scale cabs). Thus, the platform can currently reproduce two transport modes:
- PSCHITT-Rail: tram/train driving;
- PSCHITT-PMR : moving in a wheelchair.
For specific one-off research needs, temporary equipment can also be developed, such as:
- PSCHITT-Colibri: simulation of the dynamics of an aircraft cabin, as part of the Sièges-Colibri project.
Keywords
Tram/train driving, wheelchair access
Financing
The platform is part of the Contrat de Plan État-Région (CPER) RITMEA, co-financed by the Union Européenne with the Fond Européen de Développement Régional (FEDER), by the État and by the Région Hauts-de-France.
