PSCHITT-Rail
Modality of the multimodal PSCHITT transport research platform, the PSCHITT-Rail platform is a simulator dedicated to rail driving. It is part of the laboratory's autonomous mobility platform and is part of the CPER RITMEA regional AV-Lab platform.
General presentation
Designed by LAMIH, the PSCHITT-Rail platform reproduces the operation of a tramway or train in a safe, experimental context, for professional drivers or autonomous systems. Dynamic and immersive, it is a semi-heavyweight scientific facility (1:1 scale cab, Alstom console, mobile base...) featuring a railway simulation software environment specifically adapted for research purposes.
.Implemented in numerous projects, the PSCHITT-Rail platform's advanced functionalities enable it to safely meet experimental needs in different usage contexts, such as:
- The design, prototyping and evaluation of advanced driver assistance systems;
- The analysis and modeling of driver and user behavior, particularly in potentially accident-prone contexts;
- Studies related to safety in rail transport.

Financing
The platform is part of the Contrat de Plan État-Région (CPER) RITMEA, co-financed by the Union Européenne with the Fonds Européen de Développement Régional (FEDER), by the État and by the Région Hauts-de-France.
