PSCHITT-PMR

Modality of the multimodal PSCHITT transport research platform, the PSCHITT-PMR platform constitutes a simulator dedicated to the movement of a Person with Reduced Mobility (PMR) in a wheelchair. It is part of the laboratory's autonomous mobility platform, and forms part of the CPER RITMEA regional PMR-Lab platform.

Presentation

Designed by LAMIH, the PSCHITT-PMR platform enables a manual or motorized wheelchair user to move around in a simulated, immersive and dynamic environment, in a safe experimental context. PSCHITT-PMR is a full-scale, medium-weight scientific facility (motorized roller bench, instrumented reconfigurable wheelchair, etc.) featuring a simulation software environment tailored to research use.

.

Implemented in several projects, the PSCHITT-PMR platform's advanced functionalities enable it to safely meet experimental needs in different usage contexts, such as:

  • The design, prototyping and evaluation of advanced mobility assistance systems;
  • The study and modeling of PMR;
  • Quantifying the biomechanical cost of moving;
  • The study of the impact of the environment on the difficulty of a trip;
