Challenge 2: High Performance and Secure Architectures, Data and Services for Mobile & Embedded Systems

The objective of this challenge is to develop mobile and embedded systems capable of efficiently processing very large amounts of data from heterogeneous sources. These systems must simultaneously meet several contradictory criteria: performance, low energy consumption, reliability, security and finally a reduced cost. The field of application concerns the smart city in general and intelligent transportation systems (autonomous vehicle) in particular.

In this challenge, the design of hardware and software components for AI is considered a key area. This design also takes into account secure communications and attack detection aspects. We thus cover a stack of 3 levels : hardware architectures, data exchange protocols and algorithms and finally the integration of applications.
