Event management architecture for intelligent monitoring

In recent years, more and more manufacturers and fleet operators of mobile systems have focused their efforts on the study and development of condition-based maintenance, monitoring and diagnostic strategies to cope with an increasingly competitive, unstable, costly and unpredictable environment.

In this project, we focus on the event management architectures on which a fleet event management system is based. An event management architecture is defined as a computerized system integrating the functions and algorithms (software) to be implemented, as well as the location of the various computing elements (hardware) in charge of the flow of events, information and digitized knowledge. The project aims to propose an original event management architecture, based on holonic principles. This architecture aims to improve the monitoring and diagnostic processes of a fleet of mobile systems, in order to design a high-performance event management system. An application on a fleet of 10 trains currently in use is expected.
