Volar&la

Volar&la: comparative study

This research project aims to prepare a project consisting in questioning whether in a school context, cycle 3, for children aged 9 to 11, the association of tangible objects with digital environments constitutes an added value in terms of learning.

To be more precise, the digital environments called upon are part of a Serious Game called Volar&la, the aim of which is to teach cross-disciplinary skills (knowing how to locate oneself in space, solving complex problems and looking for information in a document).

Thus, the idea of this project is to prepare for the conduct of an experiment aimed at comparing for a significant number of CM1, CM2 and 6e classes in the Hauts-de-France Region, whether for the same Serious Game we identify significant differences in learning among learners when the modalities put in presence are on the one hand a digital environment alone and on the other hand a digital environment associated with tangible objects. Experimentation conditions are to be studied as part of this year of preparation.
