With the IUT, set yourself a goal!
To close this fourth edition of the Cordées de la Réussite, the IUT invited "encordés" middle and high school students, to a festive day on the Mont Houy campus.
The day's program
- Friendly breakfast with IUT staff and management.
- Presentation of students' work, exhibited in the university library and voting on each poster by students and teachers.
- Lunch at the university restaurant.
- Fun workshops, ancient games and magic.
- Poster competition prize-giving: 2 prizes awarded by student vote, 2 prizes awarded by IUT teachers and staff vote.
Throughout the year, middle and high school students took part in a wide range of activities: science workshops, visits to the Stellantis company, business start-up simulations, immersions in training courses in Valenciennes, Cambrai, Maubeuge.
A big thank you to all the schools that took part in the Cordées de la réussite this year, collèges and lycées in Avesnes-sur-Helpe, Condé-sur-Escaut, Denain, Fourmies, Fresnes-sur-Escaut, Gouzeaucourt, Maubeuge, Saint-Amand-Les-Eaux, Somain, Wallers.
Thank you to the administrative and teaching staff at the IUT and to the students mobilized all year round on these actions!
Presentation of students' work and awards ceremony
As part of a competition offered by the IUT, students presented the jury with the work they had carried out following their visit to the various departements de formation. They were asked to create a poster illustrating their visit, and the professions and training courses presented by the IUT.
The day ended with the presentation of prizes to the competition winners.
