A week in Dublin with BUT GIM
A look back at a week at Technological University of Dublin
The 3rd year apprentices of BUT Génie Industriel et Maintenance as well as 5 2nd year apprentices spent a week at the Technological University of Dublin.
Accompanied by 2 IUT teacher-researchers, Sofiane Ghenna and Fahmi Chaari, the students were able to deepen their knowledge thanks to a conference on bio-inspired nano-drones.
They carried out practical work in metrology, focusing on vibration measurement and angle measurements of technical parts, using different methods and machines.
They took part in workshops on aligning electrical machines using lasers. They studied the concepts of ultrasound and acoustics, and took part in an in-depth session on hydraulics.

During the week, they also practiced their English and strengthened their team spirit thanks in particular to a free day in the capital.
