Science en FĂȘte at the IUT: back in pictures
The IUT vibrated to the rhythm of scientific passion on the Valenciennes and Maubeuge campuses
An exceptional mobilization of training departments GIM, INFO, MP
The Industrial Engineering and Maintenance (Valenciennes) , Informatics and Physical Measurements (Maubeuge) departments have been preparing for several months the activities deployed during the FĂȘte de la science on October 09 and 10, 2025.
- 76 student volunteers put their knowledge at the service of scientific mediation.
A rich and captivating program
- 16 different workshops, covering a wide range of scientific and technological disciplines, were on offer to school audiences. From chemistry to computer science, mechanics and electricity, students were able to take part in hands-on experiments.
A delighted and numerous audience
The impact of this event is measured each year by the attendance and interest shown by schools:
- 6 schools (collÚges and lycées) made the trip to offer their students an immersion in the world of science and technology at the IUT.
- The 262 participants enrolled in the workshops enjoyed this playful discovery, which helps to promote science and technology careers.
The FĂȘte de la Science organized on the Valenciennes and Maubeuge campuses was a real success, testifying to our community's commitment to the transmission of knowledge.
