Right first time" day highlights agile, sustainable manufacturing process
On February 1, UPHF, the GIS S.mart cluster and Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence presented the "Right first time" manufacturing process to industry players and teachers at the University.
.Hexagon and its partners Tungaloy, Meltio Multistation, Tesa and I-Trans, shared their experiences in the field with the "Right first time" process. Their testimonials showed the challenges encountered when implementing this process to get parts "right first time", as well as the opportunities it promises from an economic and ecological point of view.
Complementing this feedback, demonstration workshops enabled participants to concretely explore ways of achieving "Right first time". Each workshop offered a practical insight into the technologies and techniques essential for ensuring quality the first time.
