The Gendarmerie's Hauts-de-France Research Section, under the command of Colonel Nicolas Michel, is the authority in charge of leading the most important and sensitive criminal investigations.

The Section de recherches is essentially dedicated to:

• resolving legal cases involving organized or targeted crime, in particular when they require investigators to travel abroad, as part of mutual legal assistance;
• the support of territorial units and research brigades., when this commitment is justified by the seriousness of the facts, their complexity, their sensitivity or their serial nature ;
• the implementation of the judicial part of the gendarmerie's counter-terrorism system.
  
  The conference will take place on Tuesday April 2 from 12:30pm to 2pm, on the Tertiales site (amphi B)
