Exchanges with UM6P take shape
From May 12 to 16, 23 students from the Cultur.Ed program at Université Polytechnique Mohammed VI (UM6P) came to Université Polytechnique Hauts-de-France for an immersion program as part of the Step up project.
They were able to discover the establishment, INSA Hauts-de-France, participate in small groups in TDs, visit some of our laboratory platforms. They also discovered the city of Valenciennes, the museums of Lens and Lewarde and attended a performance at the Phénix.
Since the signing in September 2024 of the MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) making UM6P an associate university of the EUNICE university alliance, exchanges have become increasingly dense. UM6P met with members of the alliance to present its structure, its values and define the various points of possible collaboration with all the partners.
In January 2025, a UM6P delegation visited the UPHF, where they were given a presentation of the establishment, its collaboration with the Centre Hospitalier de Valenciennes and its research laboratories, among others.
This immersion by UM6P students is the first of its kind. A second one is already scheduled for June 15 to 19, but this time, 25 Valenciennes students (15 from the L3P SHN degree and 10 from the futsal team) will be visiting UM6P for an "academic and sporting excellence week".
This is the first time that UM6P students have been immersed in the Valenciennes region.
