Following the decree n°2022-304 dated March 1, 2022, published in the Official Journal, the Catholic University of Lille (UCL) is officially associated with the Hauts-de-France Polytechnic University (UPHF). This alliance, concluded for a period of five years, intends to pool the skills of the two universities, on six major components: training, research, professional integration, international, relations with territories and companies, and student life.

Interdisciplinary (civil engineering & industrial engineering and maintenance), inter-component (civil engineering pole of the Mechanics department & GIM department of the IUT )and inter-cultural (BTPièste culture & industrial culture), such is the format intended by the civil engineering cluster for its seventh and final COM-GC (Causeries Otiumics Mensuelles en Génie Civil) of this academic year. It took place on Wednesday, May 14, 2025 from 10:30am to 12pm in amphitheater A300 at the Abel de Pujol 1 building. It focused on the theme "Critical postures and time".

Ingenieurs, Licences, Masters, Deusts... All have entered or re-entered the school benches, and our first-timers have even received a beautiful cap in the INSA colors to proudly represent their Institute on campus and at external events!

Come to the Journée Portes Ouvertes de l'INSA Hauts-de-France, on February 7, 2026!

This Saturday, January 25, come and discover our institute, our training courses, our technological platforms and ask all your questions to our students and teachers.

The whole equipment includes, an evaporation frame (picture 1), a sputtering frame (picture 2), a polishing workshop, a HF characterization bench as well as various metrology control systems: thickness measurer, profilometer and optical means (picture 3).
The realization of sensors by the technique known as transfer constitutes an essential know-how of our laboratory.

The Maubeuge campus has been present on the territory of the Maubeuge - Val de Sambre Agglomeration Community since 1988. It is organized around 2 training components, a research laboratory and a university library. The campus welcomes about 300 students each year and 50 teachers, teacher-researchers and BIATSS staff work there daily.

The SAGIP, Société d'Automatique, de Génie Industriel et de Productique, held its 3rd annual congress from May 21 to 23, 2025.

This congress was attended by nearly 300 participants, and LAMIH was once again well represented.
