UPHF strengthens its commitment to the inclusion of staff with disabilities.
On Thursday June 13, the UPHF received the FIPHFP (Fonds pour l'Insertion des Personnes Handicapées dans la Fonction Publique) for the signing of a new agreement linking the UPHF-INSA Hauts-de-France and the FIPHFP.
Fonds pour l'Insertion des Personnes Handicapées dans la Fonction Publique (Fund for the Integration of Disabled Persons in the Civil Service)
Created in 2005, the FIPHFP is a French public body that aims to promote the employment of disabled people in the French civil service.
The organization finances actions to integrate and maintain people in employment, such as adapting workstations and training, raises awareness and trains employers and public employees to promote equal opportunities and combat stereotypes. In addition, FIPHFP helps employers meet their legal obligations in terms of employing disabled people, and works to improve workplace accessibility.
Working for an inclusive university
Following the first agreement signed in 2019, UPHF has met its commitments to FIPHFP. Committed to achieving a 6% rate of direct employment of people with disabilities, the establishment has exceeded this target, reaching a rate of 7.35% by December 31, 2023.
In the presence of Ms Marine Neuville, Director General of the FIPHFP, Ms Isabelle Chavot, FIPHFP Territorial Disability Director, and Mr Abdelhakim Artiba, President of the University, the signing of this new agreement enables the UPHF and INSA Hauts-de-France to pursue their actions, and thus reaffirm their desire to work towards an inclusive University.
