As part of the scientific animation of the Department Mechanics of LAMIH, I am pleased to announce the seminar of Rodica Niculescu, HDR Lecturer at the Laboratory of Responsible Fuels and Lubricants at CRCD-Auto Research Center, University of Pitesti, Romania.

This seminar will be held on:

The Collaborative, Hybrid, Intermodal Land Transportation Simulation Platform - Person with Reduced Mobility allows the study of the mobility of a person in a wheelchair in a simulated environment.

Come to the closing conference of the interreg ISHY (Implementation of ship hybridization) project in which LAMIH is a partner.
The objective of the ISHY project was to develop, test and validate technical tools and socio-economic implementation models for the hybridization or fuel cell powering of ships.
The scope of the project also included hydrogen supply aspects in ports. The project demonstrated the effectiveness, in terms of CO2 emission reduction, of these approaches by updating and building several types of ships (CTV, barges, cruise ship, etc.) as well as the associated port storage solutions

The "Crash materials and structures" platform is dedicated to the identification of mechanical properties at the material scale and the verification of crash performance at the structural scale.

# Portrait of a Doctoral Student # Nos Doctorant(e)s ont du Talent!

The LAMIH has decided to produce portraits of its doctoral students  in order to highlight their research work.

At the invitation of professors Maxence Bigerelle and Alex Montagne, the LAMIH UMR CNRS 8201 (Laboratoire d'Automatique, de Mécanique et d'Informatique Industrielles et Humaines) of the Polytechnic University Hauts-de-France (Valenciennes) and Bruker, invite you to attend the seminar on March 23 dedicated to instrumented indentation.

The 3rd edition of "La recherche Scientifique au féminin" took place on November 29.

The event, organized by the Parité-Egalité Commission of LAMIH UMR CNRS 8201, brought together no fewer than 186 students from INSA Hauts-de-France as well as male and female researchers from LAMIH.

As part of the scientific leadership of the Mechanics Department of LAMIH, I am pleased to announce the seminar of Cynthia Bir from Wayne State University in the USA.
