The Gendarmerie's Hauts-de-France Research Section, under the command of Colonel Nicolas Michel, is the authority in charge of leading the most important and sensitive criminal investigations.

The Section de recherches is essentially dedicated to:

• resolving legal cases involving organized or targeted crime, in particular when they require investigators to travel abroad, as part of mutual legal assistance;
• the support of territorial units and research brigades., when this commitment is justified by the seriousness of the facts, their complexity, their sensitivity or their serial nature ;
• the implementation of the judicial part of the gendarmerie's counter-terrorism system.
  
  The conference will take place on Tuesday April 2 from 12:30pm to 2pm, on the Tertiales site (amphi B)

On Thursday, February 29, 2024, students from the Master History course History and Cultural Valorization International (HVCI) traveled to Brussels

As part of the scientific activities of LAMIH's automatique department, a seminar will be given by Fumihide TANAKA, Professor at the University of Tsukuba (Japan), with which LAMIH has been working for over 15 years. 

The seminar will take place on Wednesday February 21 at 2:00 pm in room 115 of the Malvache building.

As part of the IRL CROSSING activity, a seminar will be held by Paulo Santos, Flinders University Adelaide (Australia) on Thursday, November 23 at 1pm.

Mr. Thomas Lyon-Caen, President-designate of the Ordre de avocats au Conseil d'État et à la Cour de cassation, will give a lecture at the Tertiales site, on November 15, 2023, at 2 pm (conference room).

Do it Right First Time

As part of the scientific leadership of the mechanics department of LAMIH, a seminar will be held by Sophie Armanini, Assistant Professor at the Technical University of Munich, responsible for the eAviation Lab.

This seminar will be held on Thursday June 29 at 2pm in the amphi of CISIT.

As part of the activities of the TEC-LOGd chair and to mark the arrival of Professor Sarkis among us, we are organizing a seminar with professors from Mr. Sarkis's network.

On March 2 and 3, students in the Master 2 International History and Cultural Valuation program traveled to Amsterdam.

Under the direction of Sondes Chaabane (LAMIH) Etienne Cousein (Centre Hospitalier de Valenciennes 🇫🇷) and Philippe Wieser (Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne 🇨🇭), this book focuses on the evolution of health and care facilities towards more agile, integrated into their environments and high-performing facilities.
