An International Research Project (IRP-ROI-TML) has been approved in January 2021 for a duration of five years, between the LAMIH UMR 8201 and the CIRRELT on the theme : "Operational Research and Informatics in Transport, Mobility and Logistics".

Research at UPHF is distributed among 4 major laboratories including 2 CNRS UMRs. Its strategy is defined by 3 strategic hubs addressing major societal challenges.

A continuous improvement process has existed for many years. It led to the obtaining in 2017 of the ISO 9001: 2015 certification, confirmed in January 2021.
It aims at continuous improvement, and is deliberately turned towards the human (Students of all statuses, staff of all statuses, industrial partners, etc.).

In anticipation of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science on February 11. We would like to present the existing policy on the issue of professional equality within French research.

Energy efficiency, smart and decarbonized mobility, technology for healthcare, transition to sustainability, industry of the future...these are all major challenges to which the LAMIH (UMR CNRS 8201), a UPHF laboratory, is contributing.

From June 23 to 27, 2025, INSA Hauts-de-France organized a new edition of the Créathon, a marathon of creativity and innovation whose theme this year was Music. Over the course of a week, students took up a collective challenge combining social commitment, creativity and technological innovation, and presented their projects in front of a jury of professionals.

This edition benefited from the support and presence of numerous partners: the Conservatoire de Denain, the Institut Médico-Éducatif de Denain, the association " les Petits Pas de Rachel ", the baroque ensemble Harmonia Sacra from Valenciennes, the FLAC (Fédération Locale Alternative Culturelle) of Marly, Les Nuits Secrètes, the theater Le Phénix of Valenciennes and the Ville de Saint-Amand-les-Eaux.
