As part of the Year of Japan, launched jointly with Toyota Motor Manufacturing France, the Université Polytechnique Hauts-de-France is inaugurating its first student carnival on the Mont Houy campus. Named Happi, in reference to Japanese matsuri, this festive and cultural event marks a new stage in the dynamic student life carried by the establishment.

From March 30 to April 3, HandiWeek returns with a brand new awareness-raising program. For one week, the university community is invited to reflect on the way it views disability, as well as the challenges of accessibility and inclusion in higher education.

By decree of the President of the Republic dated May 15, 2026, two female faculty members and researchers at the Université Polytechnique Hauts-de-France were appointed to the rank of Knight of the National Order of Merit.

As part of the Plan d'Investissement d'Avenir France 2030, a specific call for projects was coordinated by the Centre National du Cinéma et de l'image animé (CNC) entitled "La Grande Fabrique de l'image". On Friday May 19, during the 76th edition of the Cannes Film Festival, Minister of Culture Rima Abdul Malak revealed the names of the 68 winners. It was with pride that we learned that our project Talented Broadcaster's Academy, was selected on volet I Grands Studios de tournage and Volet III Formation. It is one of five winning projects in the Hauts-de-France region. Three other public-sector establishments appear on the list at national level : École Louis Lumière, FEMIS and Université Aix-Marseille.

Since September 2021, the training offer has evolved into IUT : the course of study is done in 3 years, and delivers a Bachelor of Technology University degree.
