UPHF offers its students the opportunity to enrich their academic experience with training modules that are included in their curriculum. Choosing these modules allows them to create unique and original academic paths.
What is an MP polytechnic module?
Polytechnic modules (MP) foster cross-fertilization between disciplines in the Humanities and the Sciences and Technologies. They thus open students up to disciplines that are not necessarily directly related to their field of study.
These modules also allow students with different academic backgrounds to work together and acquire new knowledge and skills.
What is an “Opening” (MO) module?
Open Modules (MO) offer short courses in the fields of culture, languages, the arts, sports, and the development of personal skills (soft skills), as well as opportunities to earn additional professional certifications.
Polytechnic and Introductory Modules by the Numbers
> 7,500 students enrolled in introductory modules each year
> 6,000 students enrolled annually in polytechnic modules
> 40 polytechnic modules offered during the academic year
> 150 introductory modules available each semester
The MP program is 36 H, and the MO program is 18 H.
There are multiple delivery formats: asynchronous, hybrid, or in-person.
The registration period is divided into two phases: September for the odd-numbered semester and January for the even-numbered semester. The first phase runs from September through December, and the second from January through May.
A certificate attesting to the time spent on the modules may be issued upon completion of the course.
Note: To be validated, the course must be completed in its entirety (36 hours for MP or 18 hours for MO).
