This event is organized as part of the Welcome to France program, which aims to facilitate the integration of international students.

Interdisciplinary (civil engineering & industrial engineering and maintenance), inter-component (civil engineering pole of the Mechanics department & GIM department of the IUT )and inter-cultural (BTPièste culture & industrial culture), such is the format intended by the civil engineering cluster for its seventh and final COM-GC (Causeries Otiumics Mensuelles en Génie Civil) of this academic year. It took place on Wednesday, May 14, 2025 from 10:30am to 12pm in amphitheater A300 at the Abel de Pujol 1 building. It focused on the theme "Critical postures and time".

Cristina CANTALLOPS VILÀ, a 4th year PhD student in biotechnology/applied microbiology, is tackling one of the major challenges facing modern healthcare: antibiotic resistance. Passionate and committed, she talks to us about her career path, her promising research and her ambitions for the future.
