11th edition of Researchers' Tuesday

The 11th edition of the Tuesday of Scholars (MoS) will be held on September 6, 2022, beginning at 9:00 am.

Become an actor of this edition of the MoC!

  1. The online registration form is available
here. And, for doctoral students, presenting a poster at the MoC grants 1 credit in your doctoral training. Participating in Researcher's Tuesday is also about discovering the research being conducted by your colleagues to facilitate collaborative initiatives between individuals, departments or institutions. You can also register here, without necessarily submitting a poster. Since 2015, MDC has also focused on Culture with the Show Your PhD ! competition, or how to use art as a vehicle for a scientific message. Want to tell, show, draw, film, photograph, choreograph, sound, ... your PhD subject ? This contest is for you ! Details by here.

What is Researchers' Tuesday?

Created by the Faculté Polytechnique de Mons in the early 2000's, the MdC Researchers' Tuesday (previously Researcher's Matinee) is a scientific event organized annually by researchers and for researchers. It is thus a privileged place of exchange within which the field actors of research (scientists under contract, doctoral students, assistants, PhDs, ...), coming from different backgrounds, have the opportunity to meet, to discover the research conducted by others and thus allow the establishment of collaborations between individuals, departments or institutions.

Since the 2011 edition, the event now involves all the scientists and researchers of the UMONS, and since 2015, the Hauts-de-France Polytechnic University (UPHF) has joined the adventure. The 2016 edition was thus organized on the Mont Houy campus in Valenciennes, then at Arenberg Creative Mine (Valenciennes) in 2018, and more recently in 2021 in remote.

Confirming the desire to open the event to as many researchers as possible, our fellow network members EUNICE are invited to the event for the first time through a special session dedicated to them.
