Assises de la coopération franco-indonésienne: UPHF continues to build momentum for cooperation

A UPHF delegation attended the 13th assises de la coopération franco-indonésienne held in Surabaya from July 2 to 4, 2024

Indonesia, the world's 16th-largest economy and ASEAN's 1st-largest, posted long-term growth of +5.3% in the first half of 2023, making it a key partner for France in this part of Asia.

The UPHF, which has been developing its collaboration with this country since 2012, took pride of place during these meetings. Indeed, the delegation was on all fronts: stand at the exhibition center, running workshops, signing partnership agreements with leading establishments, a high-ranking meeting with BRIN (the National Agency for Research and Innovation, Indonesia's equivalent of CNRS) and the French Embassy to discuss the launch of a joint research structure in conjunction with CNRS on the theme of sustainable mobility, but also the development of the Degree by Research program, focusing specifically on research training at master's and doctorate level.

The UPHF, which has been developing its collaboration with this country since 2012, was given pride of place during these meetings.

These conferences officially launched the ADIUT - Indonesian Politeknik double degree program, with the IUT de Valenciennes as pilot. These more than promising advances reward the efforts made over the last ten years.
