EUNICE: UMONS Student Advisory Council meeting

Students were able to reflect together on many topics related to the EUNICE alliance of European universities during the meeting held on March 20 and 21, 2024 at the University of Mons.

Shaping the future of European education

With the aim of fully integrating the student voice into the European higher education landscape, the EUNICE European University hosted the EUNICE Student Advisory Board (EUNICE Student Advisory Board - ESAB) meeting at the University of Mons on March 20 and 21. This meeting enabled students from the ten universities of the alliance to reflect together onvarious subjects linked to the future of European higher education, and in particular within the EUNICE alliance.

On the program for these two days of work, the students had the opportunity to work on drafting a document that will shape the future of student involvement in EUNICE (recruitment strategies, definition of roles within student organizations, committee organization...). They were also able to reflect together on the design of activities aimed at students (Summer Camps, cultural and sporting events...).

Presence of UPHF and INSA Hauts-de-France Student Vice-Presidents

During the meeting, UPHF students were represented by Thomas Bourgois and Paul Giroux, respectively Student Vice-President of the Université Polytechnique Hauts-de-France, and Vice-President of INSA Hauts-de-France.
