An initiative to bring cultures together over the holidays

Initiated in 2022 by theCentre Gaston Berger and the International Relations department of the INSA Hauts-de-France, the Partage ma table event enables all international students from the school and UPHF to share a meal and a warm moment with local families during the holidays.

A simple, convivial moment rich in exchanges

From December 15 to January 15, 2025, families in the Valenciennois, Cambrésis and Maubeugeois are invited to host one or two international students for a meal, an evening or a moment of sharing.

Because the holidays can be synonymous with loneliness for those far from home, Partage ma table helps recreate a bit of family warmth while fostering beautiful encounters.
Participating in the Partage ma table initiative is above all offering human and benevolent support to an international student who finds himself far from his family during the holidays. It's also an opportunity to create an authentic bond with students from elsewhere and share an enriching moment. Finally, it's a great opportunity to discover new cultures, exchange ideas over a meal and share traditions.

A simple registration and networking system

Student and family volunteers can register via an online form.

The operation is open to all international students, whatever their level of study, date of arrival in France or component.
As far as families are concerned, the only condition is that they must live in the areas of our campuses: the Valenciennois, Cambrésis and Maubeugeois.

Depending on availability and expectations, the teams at the INSA Hauts-de-France and the UPHF then match host families with students.
