The Fédération Française du Sport Universitaire has just elected the young sportswoman Female Athlete of the Year 2024

Chloé Galet, 23, a student in her 3rd year Bachelor's degree in Education and Motricity (STAPS) at the Institut des Transversalités, des Sports et de la Santé, specializing in sprinting, already has an impressive track record for her age:

  • Vice World Champion 4x100m Relay 2024
  • 4th in the 4x100m team at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games
  • 3-time bronze medallist at the French Indoor Championships (60 and 200m) in 2022 and 2023
  • Gold medallist 4x100m at the Dromia International Sprint and Relays Meeting 2022

Launched into the adventure of athletics at the age of 6, she is today the 9th best French sprinter of all time with a record of 11.11 seconds in the 100 meters!

Chloé Galet hasn't gone unnoticed, and the Fédération du Sport Universitaire has just awarded her the title of Individual Female Athlete of the Year 2024.

This richly deserved distinction marks a new milestone in Chloé Galet's career.

I'm obviously very touched by this distinction, which is a real plus for me. I've been noticed and I can't help but feel honoured. The challenges continue: I'm preparing for the next world relay championships in China, the university championships, the European team cups and the interdisciplinary world championships in Japan.
