Signature of the Charter of the Sustainable Development Club for Public Establishments and Public Enterprises (Club DDEP)

On Thursday, December 7, President Abdelhakim Artiba attended the DDEP Club plenary, which was held at the National School of Magistracy. He presented the University, especially its actions for a sustainable development. The president then signed the Charter of the Sustainable Development Club of Public Establishments and Public Enterprises.

Through this approach, the establishment commits to:

  • Conduct a strategic sustainable development reflection to identify its own issues, share them and define its objectives in the field of its specific competencies,
  • Translate this reflection into its policy (define its projects, its management and its way of reporting, involve the staff and the various stakeholders and interested parties)
  • Develop a strategic sustainable development document that includes its commitments, widely distributed internally and externally, and report on the social and environmental consequences of its activities in its annual report
  • Construct and pilot an action plan within the framework of its strategic document, enabling the integration of previously defined governance and implementation principles.

The UPHF aims, through its membership in this network, to exchange among peers and conduct collective research for new solutions to accelerate the ecological and solidarity transition.
