UPHF awarded Silver label by AFNOR Certification
The Université Polytechnique Hauts-de-France (UPHF) has been awarded the Pro-Bike Employer label - Silver level 🥈 for its Mont Houy site, by AFNOR Certification.
This award recognizes the sustainable mobility strategy implemented by the university to encourage the use of bicycles on a daily basis among its students and staff.
Since 2022, numerous concrete actions have been deployed:
- Regular communications on soft mobility;
- awareness-raising operations and themed conferences;
- The loaning of bicycle equipment via university libraries (locks, pumps, etc.) ;
- Secure shelters and 300 dedicated parking spaces;
- An active mobility mission manager to support local initiatives.

What is the Pro-Vélo Employer label?
This label recognizes employers committed to promoting bicycle mobility for home-to-work and work trips. It entitles employers to:
- A methodology and concrete tools to deploy a cycling policy adapted to the organization;
- Access to the Pro-Vélo Employer Community, a space for exchanges and resources for cycling referents;
- Official European recognition via Cycle Friendly Employer certification.
