AS UPHF becomes one of France's most successful university sports associations
An exceptional year for the Association Sportive de l'Université Polytechnique Hauts-de-France (AS UPHF), which has established itself as a true benchmark in the French university combat sports landscape. With outstanding performances in kickboxing and English boxing, the AS UPHF becomes one of the most successful university sports associations in France.
At the Championnats de France Universitaires de Kickboxing held last February, AS UPHF athletes shone in the rings, taking third place overall. An impressive list of achievements with a French Champion title, a silver medal and four bronze medals, confirming the excellence of Valenciennes' training in this discipline.
In English boxing at the end of March, AS UPHF further distinguished itself by dominating the French University Championships. With three French Champion titles, four silver medals and one bronze medal, the sports association asserts itself as the most titled in this discipline!
All these results and the development of these practices will lead to the creation of a Kickboxing section within the Valenciennes Université Club association from September 2025. The aim of this initiative is to develop foot-punching practices in the Valenciennes area, establishing a solid base and a strong link between the region and the university.
It's a great way to develop the sport of kickboxing in the Valenciennes region.
