UPHF ranked in THE University Impact Ranking 2023!

Fourth successful participation for UPHF in the Times Higher Education (THE) ranking, which assesses universities in terms of their economic and social impact in relation to the United Nations' sustainable development goals

.

1,591 institutions from 112 countries appear in this new edition of THE University Impact Ranking.

The Université Polytechnique Hauts-de-France is one of 22 French institutions ranked, and occupies the 870th position out of 1591 candidate institutions worldwide, with an overall score of 57.3 / 100.

The ranking is based on the UN's 17 sustainable development goals, which came into force on 01/01/2016, and highlights the institutions whose policies work hardest in this direction.

To be included in the overall ranking, it is compulsory for establishments to provide data for goal no. 17 - partnerships to achieve the goals - and to select at least three other goals. These data relate to the quality of research in the field (automatic query) and to figures and actions implemented (data provided by the establishment).

At the end of the ranking, each establishment is required to provide data for at least three other objectives.

The Université Polytechnique Hauts-de-France proposed a response on 8 objectives. The university's final score is calculated by combining its score in sustainable development objective n°17 with its three best scores among the remaining 7 objectives. No. 17 accounts for 22% of the overall score, while the other 3 each have a weighting of 26%.
