Vice-Président délégué pour l'alliance européenne EUNICE et de l’Europe

Sébastien Grondel is currently University Professor at INSA Hauts-de-France. His research and teaching activities focus on the design and development of micromechatronic systems for applications in healthcare, energy and transport. He is the author of over a hundred articles published in journals and conferences on intelligent materials, ultrasound and mechatronics, and has taken part in several interviews for the general public on France Culture, France 2 and France 3. He is also head of the MAMINA group at the IEMN, "Matériaux et Acoustique pour les MIcro et NAno systèmes intégrés", and a member of the French Acoustics Society (SFA) and the French Electronics, Electrical Engineering and Automation Society (EEA).

In addition to these research and teaching activities, over the years he has also assumed responsibilities on different perimeters. At ENSIAME, he was successively in charge of internships (2005-2008), international relations (2008-2016) and finally deputy director (2013-2016). Building on this experience, he became Deputy Vice-President for International Relations at UVHC (2016-2019), and since January 2020 has refocused his activities as advisor to the President of UPHF for the coordination of the EUNICE alliance of European universities. Since October 2024, he has been the university's vice-president responsible for the EUNICE European alliance and Europe.
