After training as an engineer specializing in Computer Science, Industry and Automation at INSA HDF under the guidance of LAMIH's teacher-researchers, Thomas Van Assche chose to continue his studies and do a PhD at LAMIH.

Technical projects are an opportunity for students to carry out experiments by managing both technical and artistic aspects on complex themes combining sound (sound recording, editing, mixing), image (animation, photography, shooting), prototyping (Arduino, Raspberry Pi), and/or computer science (software, programming).

The ''Smart Home'' platform has been designed to be a showcase for the research activities carried out in the LAMIH UMR CNRS 8201 Computer Science department on the one hand, and a test bed for the evaluation of our solutions on the other.

The informatique department is pleased to invite you to Professor Rossana ANDRADE's seminar, this Thursday July 4 from 1pm to 2pm, in the DOAE amphitheater.

This master's degree is designed for managers and engineers in the audiovisual, telecommunications and new media sectors. The course integrates teaching on signals and systems, multimedia computing and professional audiovisual, not forgetting management aspects. The Master's program offers a multi-faceted, highly professionalized training program (with professional lecturers and equipment) that combines theoretical and practical teaching (with numerous professional situations involving multicams, live TV broadcasts, technical projects, etc.). It enables students to master the capture, processing, compression, transmission and broadcasting of images and sound.
