For the first time in almost 50 years of existence, INSA Hauts-de-France's Audiovisual and Multimedia training courses are offering a "Nos anciens⋅ne⋅s aux génériques" catalog highlighting productions in which our former⋅n⋅es étudiants⋅e⋅s may have taken part.

L'INSA Hauts-de-France is organizing its Journée Portes Ouvertes le February 10, 2024 from 9am to 5pm.

From June 23 to 27, 2025, INSA Hauts-de-France organized a new edition of the Créathon, a marathon of creativity and innovation whose theme this year was Music. Over the course of a week, students took up a collective challenge combining social commitment, creativity and technological innovation, and presented their projects in front of a jury of professionals.

This edition benefited from the support and presence of numerous partners: the Conservatoire de Denain, the Institut Médico-Éducatif de Denain, the association " les Petits Pas de Rachel ", the baroque ensemble Harmonia Sacra from Valenciennes, the FLAC (Fédération Locale Alternative Culturelle) of Marly, Les Nuits Secrètes, the theater Le Phénix of Valenciennes and the Ville de Saint-Amand-les-Eaux.

Organized every two years, the INSA Group short story competition invites students, staff and alumni to take up the pen and imagine fictional texts, around a theme. For 2024, the theme is "Artifice".

Artifice n.m. : A clever, ingenious device. An artifice of calculation. Skillful means of disguising the truth. Ruse, subterfuge, deception.
Fireworks: explosives with a luminous effect that are set alight for an outdoor party. Figuratively:that which dazzles by the number and rapidity of brilliant images or features.

Born in 2011, this competition, meets with great success at each session. The humanist dimension of engineering training, the DNA of the INSA model, is fully expressed in the pleasure authors take in this writing exercise. This pleasure is enthusiastically shared by the members of the juries, who are always curious and eager to discover the texts.

Since , Tempesta, a 3rd-year student in energy mechanics at INSA Hauts-de-France, has embarked on an exceptional adventure with his three childhood friends. Aboard a sailboat, they are crossing the Atlantic for eight months to contribute to scientific research and the protection of the oceans, recovering plankton samples in order to transmit them to a laboratory thanks to their partner association Astrolabe Expeditions.

The INSA Hauts-de-France is hosting the CLIMATE SENSE device, thanks to the support of the club Démarche Verte and the Communauté d'Agglomération de Valenciennes Métropole (CAVM). This immersive experience raises awareness of the concrete impacts of climate change, designed to provoke triggering action.

INSA Hauts-de-France offers several types of professional training that precisely meet the needs of companies and employees wishing to formalize and/or update their practices and skills, regardless of career stage. These schemes, whether qualifying or leading to a diploma, contribute to the competitiveness of companies as well as their ability to grasp the various transitions in our world today.

From March 27 to 29, INSA and UPHF will host the 34th MATh.en.JEANS conference. About 300 students will come, from Hauts-de-France and Luxembourg, to present the results of their mathematical research.
