Fourth edition of IAE Valenciennes' International Week
From February 12 to 16, 2024, IAE Valenciennes organized its fourth edition of International Week (International Week).
The aim of this annual event is to encourage Internationalization at Home for IAE Valenciennes' 350 Masters students. The week offers students the opportunity to take part in foreign-language conferences and workshops led by international speakers from the academic and business worlds, while discovering new themes and teaching methods.
Véronique Sanguinetti, enseignante à l'UPHF et organisatrice de la Semaine InternationaleThe International Week is an interesting way for our business students to benefit from the variety and expertise of our partners, and more specifically our EUNICE partners. These students don't have the opportunity to go on long-term mobility trips: this way, they can still benefit from different ways of thinking and learning. It also helps them realize that they are part of a European University.
This year's five-day event focused on the potential of artificial intelligence in various management issues in the broadest sense. This topic was explored, among others, by two lecturers from EUNICE partner universities: Prof. M. Agoraki (University of the Peloponnese), who gave a lecture on developments in the banking and financial sector, and Prof. S. Trzcielinski, whose lecture was entitled "Opportunity recognition - Human vs Artificial Intelligence".
