Component management
Because of the timing, the University's 3 training components and one of its two component establishments have been asked to elect their management at the end of the 2024/2025 academic year.
Isabelle Massa-Turpin, unanimously re-elected IUT director on May 15, 2025, for a second 5-year term. Isabelle Massa-Turpin has been a lecturer in mathematics at UPHF since 2012 and a member of the CERAMATHS laboratory. She has taught at the IUT since 2003.
Jean-Christophe Popieul, elected director of INSA Hauts-de-France, UPHF's component institution, on June 19, 2025. He succeeds Armel de la Bourdonnaye. Jean-Christophe Popieul has been a university professor at INSA Hauts-de-France since its creation in January 2020, where he mainly teaches industrial IT. A researcher in the field of human-centered automation, he has applied his work to the automation of automotive and rail vehicles.
Jérôme Maati, elected director of ISH, Institut Sociétés et Humanités on June 20, 2025. He succeeds Frédéric Attal. Jérôme Maati is an associate university professor of management science and management, specializing in corporate financial governance. His research focuses on board efficiency, the architecture of directors' networks, banking governance, the management of voting rights in corporate groups, and the quality of accounting information.
Franck Bouchart, elected first director of IT2S, Institut des Transversalités, des Sports et de la Santé, on June 24, 2025. In post since 2005, Franck Bouchart is a University Professor specializing in microbiology. He leads research on ceramic biomaterials and nosocomial infections in osteoarticular surgery.
