Franck Bouchart elected first director of IT2S
The Institut des Transversalités, des Sports et de la Santé elected its first director for a 5-year term at the Board of Directors meeting on June 24, 2025.
University professor in biochemistry and molecular biology, Franck Bouchart has been with UPHF since 2005 and is a member of the CERAMATHS laboratory. He specializes in microbiology.
Franck Bouchart's research focuses on ceramic biomaterials and nosocomial infection control in osteoarticular surgery.
He coordinates the 2 bachelor's degrees in Life Sciences and the Master's degree in Nutrition and Food Sciences taught at the Cambrai University Center.
In direct liaison with companies, he has strongly developed the professionalization of the Master Nutrition and Food Sciences through work-study (apprenticeship, professionalization contract and continuing education).
Franck Bouchart will officially take up his post on September 1, 2025, succeeding Abdelhak Kabila, provisional administrator of IT2S since the institute's creation in September 2024.
Franck BouchartMy aim is to continue the growth of IT2S, in particular the development of healthcare training and pedagogical innovation within the institute's 3 departments: Transversalités, STAPS and Santé. My plan is also to encourage links between training and research within the university's structuring projects, such as EURO-TELL (1) and Eunice (2).
